Somewhat uniquely, this is a curry powder without coriander, so certainly different to a 'typical' blend that you might find in the supermarket. Here I have taken the liberty of producing one blend that typifies a broad number of recipes from countries such as Uganda, Malawi, Kenya and Ethiopia.
This spice blend is definitely one of our hottest and can be used in dishes such as Doro Wat, Beef Mitori or simply as a fiery curry powder.
Ingredients: cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, chilli powder, green cardamom seeds
